What Documents Do I Need to Get Started?

If the Investor an individual (UAE National)

  • Valid passport copy
  • Valid Family Book copy
  • Valid Emirates ID copy
  • Certified copy of court’s resolution in the event of a legatee, rather than the father, for a minor investor (under 21 years-old)
  • Certified true copy of power of attorney duly attested and valid along with Attorney’s ID copy + passport copy

If the Investor an individual (Non-UAE National)

  • Valid passport copy
  • Valid Emirates ID copy
  • Copy of valid residence visa page
  • Stamped Bank Letter
  • Certified copy of court’s resolution in the event of a legatee, rather than the father, for a minor investor (under 21 years old)
  • A certified true copy of power of attorney duly attested and valid along with Attorney’s ID copy + passport copy.

Company

  • Valid commercial license copy stamped by the Company’s seal
  • Valid commercial register copy or membership certificate stamped by the Company’s seal
  • Valid Emirates ID copy
  • Partners valid passports copies
  • Separated letters addressed to (Dubai Financial Market, Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange) and concerned brokerage Company to open investor numbers for the company. The Partners’ in each letter acknowledge that that have authorized Mr.…………………………., to manage and sign off transactions related to Company’s account with brokerage company concerning purchase, sale, and transfer of shares to clearing, deposit or withdraw of money, issuance of investor number, name, and signature of each Partner.
  • Stamped Bank Letters
  • Company’s Partners’ List (Partners’ names to be checked in Company’s Memorandum of Association and no separate list thereof shall be entertained if is found in Company’s Memorandum of Association)
  • In the event of Attorney, a copy of a certified power of attorney, duly signed off and valid, to be submitted with a copy of the Attorney’s Emirates ID

If the Customer is Inside UAE

  • Account should be opened at the Company or its branches, to sign off before the officer and to submit all documents required for this purpose

If the Customer is Outside UAE

  • To sign off account opening before the Notary Public in the country of his/her residence
  • To attest Notary Public signature in UAE Embassy in the concerned country
  • To attest the seal of UAE Embassy from UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs
  • The above applies to powers of attorney issued outside the United Arab Emirates.
