The President of the Tunisian Republic, Kais Saied, met with the Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Investment Group, Zayed bin Rashid bin Aweidha, at the Carthage Palace on March 12, 2020.
The meeting discussed ways to enhance the group’s contribution to revitalizing investment in Tunisia, including the medical city and free trade zones.
The Presidency of the Republic stated in a release on Thursday that the meeting also focused on designing several developmental projects in areas such as housing, irrigation, and trade and industry between the two countries, with the possibility of agreeing on more deals regarding health and energy, especially those with a social dimension for sustainable development goals. The meeting addressed regional and international issues related to developments in Tunisia.
